For example, obstructive sleep apnea, characterized by short and frequently repeated cycles of hypoxia, has been found to be associated with hypertension, stroke, and adverse cardiac events.
In contrast, short and controlled intervals of moderate hypoxia, with an oxygen level
of at least 9%, produce a type of moderate stress that leads to beneficial adaptations,
including, but not limited to:
increased vasodilation, angiogenesis, and erythropoiesis
induction of defense protein synthesis (HSP, Fe-RP, repair enzymes)
increase in glycolytic enzymes
improved insulin sensitivity
decreased cholesterol levels
anti-inflammatory effect
WHAT IS INTERMITTENT HYPOXIC THERAPY?
This involves inhaling hypoxic air (low oxygen content) in intervals
alternating with hyperoxic air (oxygen-rich). Normoxic phases (normal oxygen concentration) can replace hyperoxic phases, but are generally less effective because restoring normal saturation levels (SpO₂) takes longer, and the effect of the subsequent hypoxic phase is diminished.
The patient breathes the air mixture supplied by the precision-controlled unit quietly through a mask, remaining in a comfortable position throughout the therapy. It is not uncommon for the patient to fall asleep and describe the entire procedure as deeply relaxing.

Manufacturer Information

TUR GmbH
Grubenstr. 20
18055 Rostock
Germany
info@tur-web.com
https://www.tur-web.com/

[195

post-536","product","type-product","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","product_cat-devices-4","first","instock","taxable","shipping-taxable","product-type-simple
["GET
